"We’re often asked: What goes into a cancer screening? The truth is, if you ask 100 doctors, you’ll likely get 100 different answers. To help those without immediate access to this information, we’ve summarized the cancer screening process at Vincere Cancer Center—a recognized leader in firefighter cancer screenings.

Vincere conducts screenings for fire departments across Arizona and has detected cancer in many firefighters who showed no symptoms at all. Their work has been lifesaving. Beyond screenings, Dr. Shukla, Dr. Prichard, and Dr. Bans are passionate advocates for firefighters’ health and wellness. They generously shared their screening process with us so it can serve as a resource for anyone without immediate access to screenings.

Use information below as a starting point to talk with your primary care provider or any available resource to get screened. Your health is non-negotiable. Whatever it takes, just get it done!
